Hello ,

Actually, the alt attributes, commonly referred to as alt text, it’s an essential element for an effective online presence. there are some benefits to add the image alt tags.
One is Accessibility
The second one is Image SEO

The main purpose is to describe images to visitors who are unable to see the images and search engine also easily identify the images actually what is that. The alt attribute is designed for users of screen readers.

One of the reasons to effectively use the alt text to boost your SEO and According to Google guidelines, alt tags allow the images on your pages to rank in image search results.

I’m giving you the good and bad examples, please check it out:

Bad examples:

Bad (missing alt text): <img src=”puppy.jpg” alt=””/>

Bad (keyword stuffing): <img src=”puppy.jpg” alt=”puppy dog baby dog pup pups puppies doggies pups litter puppies dog retriever labrador wolfhound setter pointer puppy jack russell terrier puppies dog food cheap dogfood puppy food”/>

Good Ecamples:

Better: <img src=”puppy.jpg” alt=”puppy”/>

Best: <img src=”puppy.jpg” alt=”Dalmatian puppy playing fetch”/>

Hi ,
First of all thank you for your response. Now I understood why is “alt text” important on the images, but I have one doubt what kind of “alt text” useful for a website short “alt text” or length “alt text”

For Eg:- <img src=”Childrens.jpg” alt=”Childrens are getting breakfast”/> OR
<img src=”Childrens.jpg” alt=”childrens are getting breakfast with vitamins and protein it’s very healthy”/> which is the best?
