It is a permanent redirect from one Url to another. 301 redirects send site visitors and search engines to a different URL than the one they originally typed into their browser and it is also useful in directing link juice to new url from old url. Can anyone please explain about this .

A 301 redirect is a command used to tell the search engines that a page has permanently moved and that you want them to index the new page and drop the old one from their index.
