What are the key metrics in Google Analytics?

As much as I know, Google Analytics is a web analytics tool provided by Google that tracks and reports your website’s traffic and other insights that help you to benchmark your website’s performance. Can you guys tell me what are the key metrics in Google Analytics?

Hey ,

When you land on the Google Analytics, First you’ll see the Dashboard and Audience Overview page. here you can find the following metrics:

  • Sessions
  • Users
  • Pageviews
  • Pages/Session
  • Average Session Duration
  • Bounce Rate
  • New Sessions

Then you can get the below metrics:

  • Source
  • Pageviews vs unique pageviews
  • Average time on page
  • Entrances
  • Bounce rate
  • Exit percentage
  • Locations
  • Device usage
  • Behavior flow
  • Landing pages
  • Site speed

yes, sure, Behavior Flow It visualizes the path of users where traveled from the particular page. for example, I visited my website homepage then move to the contact page or any landing pages, and finally, I will check one of my blog posts from my website. so now I can see this behavior flow in my Google Analytics account. Actually this report will help you to identify what page or content keeps users engaged. The Behavior Flow report also support us to identify potential content issues as well.
