Do you know what’s happening around the world? President Trump released an order by targeting Blogs, Recipe Sites, Review site, eCommerce site, and online forums that publishes user-generated content. Specifically, he mentioned Facebook and Twitter. Actually the main scope of this order is to moderate the user-generated contents including all websites.

I personally feel that President Trump is doing his job very well, What do you think about this guys?

This executive order will impact the traditional legal immunity presently enjoyed by many websites like blogs, online forums, eCommerce sites recipe sites, etc. According to the executive order, If a publisher restricts certain comments or content considering it to be “obscene, filthy, lascivious, excessively violent, harassing, lewd or objectionable” but, fail to provide a reasoned explanation, adequate notice to the specific user about the restriction or didn’t give an opportunity for a hearing, then the publisher might be subject to legal action against them.

So, I think instead of improving the freedom of speech on the internet, this executive order by President Trump might do the opposite by eliminating the legal immunity granted to bloggers, online forums, eCommerce sites, recipe sites and many other websites that run with user-generated content.

Yes, You’re right. I think order could discourage those companies from taking a role in curating the content on their platforms.

I think Trump took a good decision. because the online users can post their own opinion without any control. 😉
