Hi Everyone!

Google consistently developing their services based on the user experiences, As you know we are suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic. The whole world is impacted by this. But, when it comes to online business, they are still working and provide goods and services to their customers by obtaining home delivery methods, even restaurants also running and providing foods through home delivery and takeouts. It has continued to increase and promote relevant results in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. look at the below snapshot to know how does this new label update works:

I’m urging you guys to discuss this latest update of Google which will help the people in the relevant fields.

Yes, in the search results, it is giving priority to the entities like restaurants and bakeries services which are providing food and having the features like “Delivery” and “Take out”. But this is currently limited only in “USA”. if all the food stations having the same facilities ( “Delivery” and “Take out”), then the results will be shown by considering other existing factors. In my point of view, this will effectively work if the searcher uses the keywords with the phrases like “near me”, nearby” eg: “restaurants near me”, “bakeries near me”

Note: This functionality only available in USA

Yes, it’s it appears only a few areas and others do not have this kind of feature. which means these features may not be present in all markets. Actually, Google Maps changed their Ways. In earlier I have seen like Cafes, Restaurants or something but

Now it has changed to sow-up like Takeouts, Delivery Gas and etc.. these labels are highlighting in the maps overview and in search results.

#Nigetha,

Did you research how the output is coming? I mean the structured data result.

Yes, ,

We can’t use the website, organization, social, product or any review schema code for here, it’s something different. yes, Google has announced the new way and also its special announcement related to the pandemic that can be highlighted on Google Search. for that, we need to add this Special Announcement structured data into our web pages or need to submit a COVID-19 announcement in Search Console. furthermore, check this out: https://bit.ly/3edrw8C

Google has implemented lots of new features amid this COVID-19 outbreak to help the general public. Like takeout and delivery labels under restaurants in Google Search and Maps, Google’s new way to make special announcements related to the COVID-19 pandemic that can be highlighted on Google Search, Google’s new COVID-19 experience on Google News and many other features on Google Ads & Health and Government Websites. I love how quick Google was to react, they’ve done a lot of great things for the people to tackle this pandemic situation.
