The Gambling niche was hit hard as were the Health & Finance niches (though the update was/is impactful across the board).

Maybe this statement is correct. Because, one of my client is having some Gambling sites. Before the update, one of his site had the best ranks on the search engine. But now, those keywords are went down. At the same time, his another site has good improvements when I compared the before and current standing. Therefore, the June month update affected widely for every niche.

Hello Dilan,

Can we evaluate this result only keeping these ranks only?

I did check one gambling site traffic, But there is no massive dropping. for your attention below attached the snapshot.

Maybe your site was not affected yet 🙂

In my observation, some of the gambling sites were attacked after this updated. In my earlier comment, I mentioned that. because I noticed the improvements in my client’s another website keywords.

At the same time, his another site has good improvements when I compared the before and current standing.

Hi Guys,

Google officially announced, the June core rolling out has been finished on last Saturday. (June 03 – 08). Altogether, 5 Days the rolling out was happening. Meantime, there was another change also released between June 4-6. How many of them know about this Diversity Update?

Danny Sullivan from Google informed me on Twitter that the June 2019 core update that started to roll out on Monday afternoon, June 3rd, has finished rolling out on Saturday, June 8th. So the process took about five-days to fully roll out, which seems pretty quick to me.

Yes, Dilan, “This “Diversity update” is designed to make it so that one site will rarely have more than two listings on the first page of the organic search results.”

Yes, Dilan, I noticed that. when I check the traffic for my website, I have lost my traffic after this roll-out. Meantime, I would like to register my point, when I compare the traffic before we faced this situation, which means, before starting this rollout, I have received the best traffic for my website. here is the reference.

Apr 1, 2019-May 31, 2019

Jun 1, 2019-Jun 11, 2019

After the 08th of June, I could see the traffic improvements for my brand.

I hope my website also affected by the June rollout and now it comes back again.

Yeah, In 2010 Google launched the changing algorithm on the search results and it will make it much easier for users to find a large number of results in a single site. Again 2012 & 2013 Google showed fewer results from the same domain name. After that, in 2019 June they have done this change for the users. But it only impacts the core results, not the additional search features such as top stories, video snippets, image carousels or other vertical search features listed among the other web results.

Comparatively, my ranks also dropped when I check the rank today, but I couldn’t see any massive changes, because of I have lost a few positions. I hope it will come back again. Or we need to create a different strategy for my website in order to get the better rank? , what do you think about it?

First thing, How could you define this rolling out is the reason for your rank and traffic drops?

Admin

Actually, I unable to assume is this 100% sure. because Normally the ranks will up and down when we do the SEO and link building. but why I’m telling this, especially, My ranks and traffic have dropped when the June month roll-out starting exactly. that’s why I’m assuming that. Do you think if there any other reasons? if yes, please let me know!

yes, but when I check the traffic, I couldn’t find any other reasons for the dropping on that time period. that’s why I would say it’s affected on that. The rank ranger has only shared this information which you mentioned the category wise business. the webmasters or any others didn’t mention like this. how we can trust is this true?

Hello Mr. Dilan,

Testing about June 2019 core update

For the June 2019 core update AB testing, We have chosen some niche sites (Travel, gambling, jewelry, hosting). After the core update rolling out we couldn’t see any impact on the travel, jewelry & hosting categories site (performance as well). But We can see the improvements in the gambling site, here I have attached the snapshot for the reference:

Before:

Current:

In my research, I have read a point about the June 2019 core update, Authoritative websites have lost them ranking in June 2019 core algorithm update Like news publishing sites eg: (dailymail.co.uk, CCN.com, MediaBiasFactCheck.com) And I have noticed you have mentioned the rank dropping website, that site does not have to seem high authoritative. I hope web site authoritative doesn’t impact the June 2019 core update. Do you agree with these points? Please share your opinions.

Thank you.

First, understand this update is depending on the Quality. First rolling mostly affected Medical Sites. March Rolling out affected retails sites (not hardly). June rolling out Gambling sites. In my perspective, this rolling out is affecting all niches one by one and they mostly encourage the quality with user experience.

Okay, #Dilan If we think from your perspective, As you mentioned beginning of the discussion that, you lost your client ranking. right? And #Dayanthiny Said according to her observation she gets some good improvements. right? So I think your client missed to check the quality. What do you think?

Dilan

All algorithms have affected the website not only June core. Definitely affect the June core algorithm. Because of these reasons

Paid links:  In the event that you’ve been purchasing awful connections (and bunches of them), your activities could have made up for lost time with you.

Duplicate content: any copied content on your site makes it less valuable in Google’s view, and that could bring about the penalty. Ensure your substance is one of a kind and elegantly composed; use devices like Copyscape.

Overusing H1 tags: Correctly organizing substance assists with SEO. The H1 label helps Google to comprehend what the page is about. H1 tags could be seen as an attempt to pump Google’s listing with keywords.

Keyword stuffed content: There is a wide range of unusual and magnificent ‘rules’ about catchphrase thickness in substance. In all actuality, none of these guidelines is demonstrated, and a high catchphrase thickness is a banner for ineffectively composed substance. In the event that Google recognizes an oddly high number of watchwords on a page, it might punish you – properly or wrongly.

Scraped content: Once in awhile site chiefs force content from different destinations so as to mass our their own pages. Frequently, this is finished with well-meaning goals, and it might be a blameless mistake. Be that as it may, Google considers this to be futile duplication. Supplant it with your own unique substance.

Anchor text overuse: Quite a long time ago, SEO specialists chipped away at connecting certain catchphrases so as to fortify their position. Since the 2012 Penguin update, the over-utilization of grapple content connecting is firmly disheartened. Change out your constrained, unnatural watchword joins for genuine connections stated in genuine English.

Spun content: It could arrive you in high temp water if Google punishment doesn’t make up for lost time with you first. Gotten some super-shabby articles? Here and there substance is spun by the ‘author’, so you may not think about it. On the off chance that the cost was unrealistic, that is a sign you may have purchased spun articles.

Hacked content: On the off chance that your site has been hacked, Google will rapidly expel it from SERPs. Act rapidly to contain hacking endeavors and reestablish locales from reinforcement if the most exceedingly terrible happens.

for these reasons, websites will get the penalty from Google. If you have these reasons, How will we identify our website affected by Google?

  1. Your website’s rank is not good for your website name any more. That’s a dead giveaway. Even if your site doesn’t rank for much else, it should at least do well on that one keyword.

  1. Any page one positions you had are slipping back to the page a few with no activity on your part.

  1. PageRank for your site has mysteriously dropped from a decent a few to a huge zero (or a measly PR of one).

  1. The whole site has been expelled from Google’s reserved query items medium-term.

We want to focus on these factors, we will save our website from the penalty

I think it’s a common point that you have mentioned here. Is there is any specific point from this update Mayura? Recently, there is a  conversation happened on twitter about the disavow links. can you please explain that here?
