Simple!

  • Type same question via Google search; you will get tons of relevant answer.
  • Try Google Keyword Planner
  • Wordtracket
  • SemRush
  • and many more…

But you have to choose the relevant Key words very carefully. Because these tools are giving the suggestions only. do not depend on one factor like “total monthly searches” or “competition”.

@Kokul – you just said dont depend on total monthly searches and competition.. but i always thought that it was good to select those keywords which have high total monthly searches and low competition for obvious reasons.. Can you correct me If I am wrong?

@piyush, Let me explain:
If we are going to target some key words to our seo website,When we do the key word research we may get the key words like below in the image

Please note: The image showed here for the reference purpose only

You can see there are some key words with high monthly search counts and low competition but not relevant to our services.

Choosing those key words will not be effective for our business. Searchers may search those key words for different purposes.

If we target those key words like “Magestic SEO” ,”Matt Cutts” , yes we can get some traffic but the conversion ratio will be very very less.

That is why I said, do not depend only on those counts. You have to have a clear scope about the niche, target place,etc… Otherwise it will difficult to run a online business.
