According to Samsung we could see a foldable smartphone in 2015.At the Samsung Investors Forum 2014 in New York, the Korean firm’s representatives said it intends to “secure production capacity of 30,000 to 40,000 (flexible displays each month) by the end of next year.” Samsung also announced that they are planing to cut down the number of smartphone models by 30 percent, so they will invest more time in perfecting their models, gaining more quality over quantity.

People will always adapt to new things, a curved or fold able smartphone in the future will be new at first but people will adapt to it as time goes by.

Just think, a long time before what do you think people thought about the first touch phones when it was introduced for the first time?

If you all are aware of it.. Samsung already introduced the curved display in Samsung Galaxy Edge and trust me I see technology being abused at times and this feeling is not at all good…

Why spend millions on dollars on making something that doesnot have a direct positive impact.. why make something like a curved phone and wait for people to adapt to it? WHY? The Koreans have always had their way with new phones,, but there were so many other areas for innovation – I dont understand people.. there are times when they want a flat screen and all of a sudden.. now they are into curved screens.. #stoopidTechTrends
